tips and Haruki Murakami
Two questions:
- I'm Dutch (so forgive the mistakes, please!) And know my way fairly well with the older German-language literature (1970 and back, I would say so). More modern books I've read a lot less. I am looking for writers actually, as Cees Nooteboom, Connie Palmen and Jessica Durlacher. (These are all Dutch writer, but I know that they are read in German-speaking) writers, then, in which the character and their relationships to each other much and are much more important than the plot. Another good example "would be Molly . Fox's Birthday by Deirdre Madden I also like Jessica Durlacher's themes always like: how the experience of bein influences in the second world war, the parents of the protagonist's life and relationships of the protagonists Is there only good tips
- I would like a book.? Haruki Murakami read. I live now in Austria and I read a Dutch translation will not work. I read in English as well as German. What kind of translation can I read the best I have heard that the English translation is very beautiful, but also because that chapter was left out on the German translation, I do not know anything So..? English or German
Thanks in advance!
